The Citadel Phoenix won a second straight Provincial title in a 30-14 win over Sackville. Harrison Brown was also named to the All Star team for the second time. He has been described by some as the top Atlantic Canada football prospect and is in the national top ten list for receivers.
Harrison returns for a senior year at Citadel High with goals in place to repeat last year's success. His first year on the gridiron Harrison led the Phoenix in scoring as they went on to win the provincial title. He also earned All Star honours for his performance. This two sport athlete used his All-Province basketball ability as he showcased a great set of hands and a talent to out jump defenders, all before using his 4.5 speed to distance himself on the field.
He has been featured on Eastlink TV for their "One to Watch" segment during a CIS broadcast this year while leading his 6 and 0 Citadel Phoenix in touchdowns with 11 so far. The Phoenix have been the class of the league this year and haven't needed their starters to play more than the first half. Harrison is interested in enrolling in a Bachelor of Commerce program but has not chosen a school or even a region that he would like to attend yet.
In the spring of 2009 Harrison was invited to attend the spring camp of the Saint Mary's University Huskies.
