Joel is a slashing guard that has played varsity for two years after transferring from a 1A school. Currently he is playing for the Edmonton Grads spring team under Dan Skepple (King's University College). He has attended the Spring ID Camp at King's University College and is looking forward to getting a couple weeks at various basketball camps around Alberta this summer.

Joel's future goals include playing post secondary basketball in a good program at a strong academic school. He is interested in Law, Communications, and Education.
