The Highlights:
Lorenzo has explosive speed, is elusive in the pack and brings the results with him. Following a transfer from UMass to Bryant it was then that Perry's star began to shine. In two years suiting up for the Bulldogs Perry carried the ball 506 times for 3259 yards and an amazing 36 touchdowns. He also caught 34 passes for 371 yards and another pair of touchdowns. At Bryant he ranks second all time in rushing yardage, eighth all time in receiving yardage, first in total touchdowns, first in rushing touchdowns and first in scoring - all in 20 career games! Lorenzo was also invited to the East Coast Bowl to play for the North Squad.

Rushed 122 times for 1,443 yards and 26 touchdowns during his senior season while catching 12 passes for 165 yards and four touchdowns, and returning a pair of interceptions to the endzone as a defensive back. Career totals of 4,469 yards on 409 carries, with 85 touchdowns. The 2002 Gatorade Player of the Year in Rhode Island. Named All-State and All-Conference during each of his four years. Selected as the MVP of the 2000 Rhode Island Super Bowl, when he rushed for 235 yards and scored three touchdowns. Member of National Honor Society.
